My role as Head of Press and Publicity was to launch a brand new feminist film festival that succeed in representing women in a positive and progressive light. Over three years I secured impactful coverage in every national broadsheet, TV, online, radio and broadcast coverage of upcoming events. Raising the profile of the founder Corrina Antrobus, securing spokesperson opportunities on female representation within film.

The Bechdel Test Fest is an ongoing festival which first launched as a year-long initiative celebrating the 30th anniversary of US animator Alison Bechdel's comic ‘The Rule’. It will continue to host much-loved classics, newly-released films, female-focused titles neglected for UK distribution. All events include Q&As or lively panel discussions and aims to raise the profile, and the conversation, about issues that affect women in the film.
