LONDON LIVE TV CHANNEL

As the in-house Publicity Manager, I was responsible for activating its consumer and trade press campaigns across its portfolio of programming which includes news and current affairs, commissioned and acquired programming.

I set up the press office and worked closely with production companies for both acquired and commissioned content, to create bespoke compelling campaigns, devise press packs and work with talent secure maximum coverage.

Working alongside producers, presenters of the planning team and the head of the news and current affairs I was able to generate high impact consumer coverage pushing out newsworthy stories and lines from their showbiz, political and business interviews which resulted widespread national and international coverage.

I worked with senior members of staff to announce new acquisitions, sponsorship deals  etc. and profile heads of department. I would also create weekly and monthly and quarterly updates to internal and external stakeholders.

News and current affairs programmes include:

  • Wake Up with London (breakfast show)

  • Headline Interview (30min/60min one-to-one interview show)

  • London Go (showbiz interviews)

  • Live from London strand (Notting Hill Carnival, Chinese New Year etc..). 

Commissioned programmes include:

  • Drag Queens of London (reality),

  • Place Invaders (property),

  • Food Junkies,

  • CTRL Freaks (comedy),

  • Platform 8 documentaries etc..

 

Acquired programming include:

  • The UK Gold documentary (UK TV premiere),

  • Respectable:The Mary Millington documentary (UK TV premiere)

  • UK premiere films,

  • Programmes from BBC Worldwide, ITV and Channel 4 etc..
